Greetings!Ephesians chapter 5:18-21.I met a young lady who had been saved for three years. The more we spoke of the goodness of God while we were yet His enemies, the more her eyes became wide and in agreement. She talkedabout the goodness of God. She described how God was so good to her and because of that, she moved to a new location and got out of a toxic relationship. We talked about finding a good churchand what that meant. At the end of our conversation I asked if I could bless her with a Woman’s Devotional Bible, a Touch Points for Women devotional guide and a Henry Blackaby DailyDevotional, explaining that my wife had given that devotional to me when I first got saved and became a born-again Christian. The look of joy on her face was overwhelming. She asked me whydo I do this? I replied, this is what God has me doing, sharing the Good News. The more I read God’s Word, the more understanding God gives me -therefore I share. It is easy for me to share thegoodness of God on how he has saved me, my marriage, my family and my life. When one reads in the book of Acts, Chapter 16:14 referring to Lydia’s conversion in Philippi, you read that the Lordopened her heart to respond to Paul’s message. The text does not say the Lord opened her emotions to respond Paul’s message. The Word of God reads, ‘the Lord opened her HEART to respond toPaul’s message’.It is safe to say she had a true conversion. When I engage with people at Biker rallies, on the streets, in stores or wherever, I try to discern what the Lord is doing between the person and I,and what to say. I find when I allow the Holy Spirit to take over, the Lord puts the right words into my mouth to speak. I just want the people that I encounter to get to know the Lord and form arelationship with our Lord Jesus as their Lord and Savior. That is one of the mission statements in Walls Of Jericho Ministry. My wife and I were at a restaurant the other day while traveling, and I asked the waitress if I could bless her with some reading material and she agreed. I gave her a Henry Blackaby DailyDevotional with a Father’s Love Letter in it. She shared ‘how much she needed that today’. I explained that’s how God works. He brings people into our lives. I also gave her a Woman’sDevotional Bible, and a Woman’s Touch Point Devotional Guide. Hosea chapter 4:6 says my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. That word is so true and relevant to people today. This ministry is so blessed by your prayers and financial support to be able to hand out the Word of God and other Christian materials.Ministry at Daytona Bike Week, was very good. My wife & I stayed about a half an hour from the Cabbage Patch Campground where we served. We woke up at 5am and arrived by 6:15-6:30am to join others to begin cooking breakfast for the bikers. We served between 40-60 bikers every morning. We engaged in conversation and prayed for many. I was asked to read scripture, expound on that scripture, and pray before we began serving breakfast at 7:30. After the meals were prepared and served, we cleaned tables and I had the joy of washing pots and pans. Then by11 AM we were ready to cross the road over to the part of the Cabbage Patch where all the vendors and activities were. This is where we have our ‘Jesus table’ full of bibles to share.I want to thank all who support this ministry with your prayers, your friendship, and with your finances. Walls of Jericho ministry is blessed to share the Word of God where ever I travel!
Your brother in Christ Jesus,
