P o n c h ’ s t h o u g h t s. . . . . . In the book of Acts chapter 10, there is a wonderful story dedicating the whole chapter to Cornelius, a centurion who was part of what was known as the ‘Italian Regiment’. Scripture reads that he and all his family were devout and God-fearing. He gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly. In a footnote referring to God-fearing gentiles, it states that these gentiles came to be known as ‘God-fearers’, many of them mentioned in the book of Acts believed on the Lord Jesus Christ and were saved. It is a wonderful story about a man and his household that loved the Lord so much, that it pleased God to send an angel to tell him he had found favor in God’s sight. He was told to send for Peter, the apostle. Once Peter arrived and began to talk with them, the Holy Spirit came upon his household.I recommend that you read Acts chapter 10 and meditate on it. At the end of chapter 10 scripture reads in verse 48, that upon seeing the Holy Spirit fall upon Cornelius and his household, Peter then ordered them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. After sharing about the Lord Jesus Christ, they asked Peter to stay with them for a few days. I can only imagine the joy in their souls and their hearts when they sat down to listen to Peter talk about Jesus. What joy and peace filled that household as Peter talked about Jesus during those few days. This is how it is when I travel and do motorcycle ministry. The families that I meet up with and the Christian brothers and sisters operating in the spiritual gifts that God has given them to minister to bikers. When I am able to speak with bikers at Biker events or people I meet along the way, I give them a Bible with a gospel tract inside. I am confident that the Spirit will touch that person. As I am able to give out children’s bibles, the parents express such joy that someone would have thought of something to give to children at a biker event, such as children’s bibles. I trust in the Holy Spirit will touch these bikers and families at these events.Ministry at Daytona was awesome including all along the way from Minnesota to Florida and back again! The ministry was able to give away Bibles and Christian materials, engage with people, and share the love of the Lord with them. Businesses even placed a table in their store and put out a display for free Bibles to be taken. There was some spiritual warfare, but God‘s kingdom was advanced, and all the ministers were encouraged by one another as we all did our part in the body of Christ.Thank you so much for your friendship, prayers, and financial support to this ministry!
