Psalm 31:3 Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name, lead and guide

I have found in ministry to stay
focused on what God is calling me to do. When I am in God’s will, there is spiritual fruit. Recently I was
sent a message regarding daily devotions I post on Facebook. It seems my friend has been sharing the devotions I post
to her brother in law. He shared with her that he would like to talk with me. He shared his phone # and asked
if I would contact him. When we met he shared what God was putting on his heart and that was a call to youth ministry. I
shared stories about youth and how they did not need cool, but needed God’s truth, His Word and obedience to His Word.
That is what God desires from all who are called by his name. If we are born again Christians, we all need to
know God’s word. The question is always – do we reflect the world or the Word? God gave me a Word to share
with him and that word gave him assurance and confirmation that it was God’s calling. Walls of Jericho Ministry
has been blessed to speak salvation and God’s Word into 3 generations and a brother in law of this same family.
I have also had the opportunity speak
into another family – wow going on to the fourth generation. It was said by one family member that ‘this
has to be of God because his family and I are so very opposite that we would never be this close if not for the Lord in the
middle putting us together!’ In being able to speak into each generation of a family, there are some powerful
promises to ponder. These scriptures come alive in each generation and are promises we can all claim as believers. Psalm
112:1-2; Psalm 145:4; 1 Peter 1:2-4.
Earlier this riding season I received a text message from a friend whom I had ridden with the previous day. He
messaged me “Hey Bro thanks for riding today. Bobby said he was thankful to have met you and that people like
you give him hope that God can change anyone.” (name changed)
The above stories show the spiritual fruit that God gives when his children
are willing to serve. You know, wherever I go and share the ‘Good News’ the Gospel, and minister to those
that God puts in my life, it is all of you that provide the prayers and resources to make it all possible. It’s
all God, but He uses you in this Walls of Jericho Ministry. Summer is here and it is a busy time! I pray that
you all will enjoy this summer season.
The upcoming August Sturgis Mission Trip is in the planning stage! The ministry will need
your prayer and financial support. If you can help, I would appreciate it.
